 Organized annually to mark the beginning of the tourist season of the
Andaman coastal provinces, Phuket carnival will be held during 1st November
until 3rd at Patong beach.
Phuket Tourist Association president Patanapong Aekvanit said the
association is joining hands with tourism operators on the island and Patong
Municipality office to organize the festival to promote and welcome tourists
to the island. Many colorful events will be staged at Soi Bang La and on
Patong beach.
Patong Carnival in Phuket is a genuine presentation of the best of
Phuket, with entertainers, marching bands, schools,
hotels,
restaurants, all of the good entertainment venues getting into the act for
three glorious days.
Sun-Worshippers from around the world flock to Phuket beaches each year
for fun and frolic that doesn't end at sunset. Every year Patong Carnival
with one stage on the beach and two stages on Soi Bangla, Mounting the most
entertainment, including : stunning faux chanteuses from Simon Cabaret;
dazzling mixology from Phuket's award-winning stable of bartenders; fashion
magic and much, much more
