Central Hotels & Resorts announces its new property in
Krabi. The premium
rated Central Krabi Bay Resort Krabi is scheduled to open in October 2005.
It is situated in its own private bay called “Pai Plong”, only one bay away
from the main resort area of Ao Nang. The resort sits majestically in the
bay fronted by a beautiful white sand beach of some 500 meters, and backed
by verdant limestone outcrops.
The
newly built, low-rise (3 storey) building clusters and individual villas
make up the resort. All 191 rooms are ocean facing including 124 King bedded
Deluxe Rooms some with a private spa terrace and 54 deluxe rooms with 2
double beds, ideal for families, and 13 private villas with or without an
individual swimming pool. All rooms feature a minimum size of 77 sq meters
an extensive “living-room style” terrace complete with lounging and dining
area, spacious bathroom with separate bath and shower.
Facilities include various sizes of conference rooms and banqueting,
Lotus Court World Cuisine, Sala Sai Lom Seafood/Thai restaurant, Hagi
Japanese restaurant, The Moonshadow Pub, Frangipani Beach Bar offering
Snacks and Evening BBQ and Jasmine Deli serving Sandwiches, Snacks and Ice
Cream for take away. Leisure facilities will include Sailing, Snorkeling,
Diving, Windsurfing and other watersport activities, Swimming pool with a
view of an aquarium under the pool, Kids pool and Jacuzzi, Health and
Fitness Suite. Centara Spa featuring Traditional Aromatherapy and
Therapeutic massages, Sauna, Steam rooms and Beauty Salon.
Reception Centre will be located at Ao Nang Beach offering front desk
services, lounge and changing facilities in this main resort town area, from
where the first amphibious vehicles in Thailand will be connecting to the
resort.

from Krabi International Airport is approximately 40 minutes and 150 minutes
